DC/Lith-ion to Petterson D500x Power Cable

This cable from BCM has a D500x external plug on one end, and a 5.5mm x 2.5mm end on the other, allowing you to connect to power sources such as certain lithium-ion battery packs. There are two versions of this cable, depending on the generation of D500x you have. The D500x built before 2013 and has the weatherproof plastic connector with two small pins. Present power in plugs are all metal barrel plugs (see photos). Both cables lock to the D500x itself, preventing disconnects. The DC end of this plug is at 90° right angle, facilitating securing with rubber bands if necessary and better fit into storage enclosures.  There is a variety of mass produced lithium-ion battery packs available that pack more energy into a smaller, lighter case than ever before, and take charges better than sealed lead acid batteries.
