Upon becoming an adult I was shocked to discover that I'm a morning person... this was definitely not the case when I was younger!  I love the stillness and quiet of dawn when everything is just waking up.  With this painting I wanted to show how the cool tones of the night blend with the warm tones of the day when the sun rays bounce off the clouds and are reflected on the ground.Mornings are so full of potential!
