Product Overview InTek Strength Armor Series Urethane Olympic 5-Grip Plate Pairs and Sets is quite possibly the most comfortable grip plate on the market. It features five state of the art ergonomically correct gripping slots per plate (10-45LB). We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused! Gripping slots are wide to accommodate the width of the hand and have a rounded, convex handle shape that fits comfortably in the hand. Five grips, when using two hands, enables a user’s hands to be in a comfortable position. More important is the counter-opposing radius of each grip. By this, the radius of the grip is opposite the outer radius of the plate. Loading, unloading and transporting plates from one area of the gym to another is easy on the hands and safer than other Olympic urethane coated grip plates. InTek fully molds each Armor Series weightlifting plate with a matte finish, hard shore polyurethane. This highly impact resistant urethane forms an almost indestructible protective barrier between the infrastructure of the plate and the surrounding harsh environment.Equally as important is the protection this urethane coating offers to gym floors and other equipment. It will not scuff or scratch floors or powder coating on strength equipment. A stainless steel center hub combined with total urethane encapsulation makes for a weather resistant plate that will look and perform flawlessly for many years to come.
