Made from grains grown right here in Vermont! From our friends at Nitty Gritty: "The superior flavor of the cornmeal in our mix comes from a blend of open-pollinated, heirloom varieties - much like the corn that native Americans grew - and hybrid varieties developed by organic farmers. We grow the corn (and the wheat) in Charlotte, Vermont. Organic farming is a lot of work, but when you taste our mix, we know you'll agree its worth it."
