65 days, dwarf — 'Dwarf Mocha's Cherry' has compact, eighteen to twenty inch tall plants with rugose regularly leaf foliage that display a purplish cast, indicative of varieties containing the anthocyanin gene. The fruit are abundant, round, small (about one ounce each), and a glossy deep purple color, some with green shoulders, that becomes nearly black when exposed to the sun. As the fruit ripen, the purple dulls, the green turns red, and they soften. The flavor is generally mild and pleasant but can be on the tart side.The Dwarf Tomato Project's "Anthy" family was created when Craig LeHoullier crossed a high anthocyanin pink cherry tomato with indeterminate growth, shared by Marcia Dillon as unstabilized material from Tom Wagner, with 'Dwarf Saucy Mary'. Craig made some dwarf selections with purple fruit and distinct black purple shoulders in 2017. The best selection from 2018 was named 'Dwarf Mocha's Cherry'.
