
1940's Simplicity Boy's Button up Shirt - 10yrs - Chest 28" - No. 2049
Simplicity circa 1947 Shirt: The back is gathered to the shoulder yoke and the front joins the yoke at a forward shoulder seam. The button-front shirt is finished with a convertible collar. In Styles 1 and II, the long sleeves have soft pleats at the lower edge and are finished with buttoned cuffs. Style I has two patch pockets with buttoned flaps. In Style II, the flaps are stitched to the upper edge of pockets. Style III has short sleeves and one pocket with a flap stitched to it. Chest: 28"Finished Length of Shirts: 24" Pattern: Complete. Printed tissue. Cut with pinking shear along and inside cut lines. Shirt front and back were cut in with a much more defined waist. Comes with paper instructions.Envelope: Very poor vintage condition with lots of rips and tears. This item comes from a SMOKE-FREE home. Not the right size, no problem!
