Small batch pre-bonsai. Early spring of 2023, 4-foot tall field grown maple trees (acer palmatum) are cut down to only a few base nodes and then planted in a clay/pumice soil mix. Major cuts are sealed with deciduous cut paste and fertilized with biogold organic fertilizer. Then the trees are allowed to grow all year without any cutbacks. what you select is the exact tree you are getting. To be transparent this is a bit of an experiment. I hope to refine the process and slowly shift to focus on producing and selling stuff like this in the future.
