The Splitting of The Sea

The Splitting the Sea is one of the greatest miracles that occurred throughout Jewish history. It is a grand moment for the Jewish people as it represents hope, freedom, song, and the beginning of a strong and unified nation. The story: The original was painted in memory of David Lennon z”l, my dear uncle and beloved cantor for Ohr Torah synagogue. He read from the Torah and led the congregation in prayer with heartwarming melodies and humble intentions. His voice knew just how to reach your soul.  At the splitting of the sea, we prophetically sang as a nation in authentic joy and gratitude.  This unified voice is exactly what my uncle brought out in his community.  This art piece is meant to bring courage and faith every time you step into the unknown.  All we have to do is trust and walk the path that lies ahead. Even if it seems impossible, miracles will occur and songs will be sung.
