Art Nouveau Trinket Box with Cameo PNCW circa 1930s

Beautiful vintage P.N.C.W. dresser box, which can be used as a trinket box, a candy dish, or a condiment bowl. Lidded and made of brass-plated spelter. It has a heavy cut glass insert, divided into three sections. The base stands on three legs. Embossed Made in USA and PNCW (Progress Novelty Casting Works) on the underside. The lid has a celluloid cameo picture of a Victorian woman in the middle. The box is from the 1930s, excellent vintage condition.  Measurements: Diameter: 6.5" (16.5 cm). Height: 2.5" (6.5 cm). Weight: 3.3 pounds (1.5 kg).
