Antique set of three iridescent lusterware porcelain condiment jars by Altrohlau Czechoslovakia, circa early 1900s. The larger jar is labeled Salt and has a wooden lid. It can be either placed on a surface or secured to a wall. The two smaller jars are labeled Cloves and Cinnamon. Please note that cinnamon is spelled with one "n." The particular hallmark on this set - MZ Altrohlau Czechoslovakia - was used between 1909 and 1922. The colorful pattern shows art deco influence, while the iridescent glaze on the porcelain is typical of Edwardian designs of the late 1800s and early 1900s. The set has some signs of wear consistent with age: a small chip on the Cloves jar and there is a remnant of writing on the back of the Salt wooden lid - see the last two pictures. The set's beautiful iridescent sheen and the brilliant colors remain intact. Measurements: Salt jar dimensions: Height 6" (15.25 cm). Width: 5.5" (14 cm). Depth: 4" (10 cm). Cinnamon/Cloves jar dimensions: Height with the lid: 4
