Podere Ruggeri Corsini Barbera d'Alba Superiore "Armujan" 2022

Along with the Barolo Bussia, this is Corsini's pride and joy. Rightfully so. This is stunning Barbera from 60-70 year-old vines in the prime Barolo village of Monforte d'Alba. It's rich and dense, flowing with ripe plums, sweet violet  and spice, and dark chocolate. Armujan spends 18 months in barrel and cask, which enhances its suave and velvety texture. Great aging potential (at least five years, which is the longest I've been able to resist so far), but you'll want to drink it all up. - Marcus
