This is a one in a kind outdoors learning experience! Course participants get to learn about safe travel in avalanche terrain and avalanche victim rescue with Boise's Winter Wildlands Alliance staff. March 12-15, 2020 This is a 4-day Avalanche Science REC1+ course. It is NOT a private course. Each participant register individually. Course space is limited. Register ASAP to reserve your space. Avalanche Science courses are closed with 6 participants.  This 4-day REC1+ course for a maximum of six participants. This course includes Avalanche Level 1 and the NEW AAA Rescue module integrated into Avalanche Science's REC1+ course. Prerequisite: Able to ski powder snow and familiar with ski touring (on skis or split-board) equipment. Pre-course material: 4-hour online Course Format: 32 hours (4-day).
