Vladimir Kagan Pair of Corkscrew Swivel Chairs for Directional in Bouclé, Signed

Newly reupholstered in a soft and nubby white bouclé, this pair of 'Corkscrew' swivel chairs by Vladimir Kagan for Directional, circa 1980 are signed with a Directional labels underneath. These classic club chairs swivels 180 degrees on a black circular wooden base. We also have matching 'Cloud' sofas, also by Vladimir Kagan for Directional and were often paired together with the Corkscrew chairs. Contact us or see our other listings for more details. Noted by Kagan as one of his most popular designs, along with the Nautilus chair which is a similar design that is often misattributed to the Corkscrew chair, so popular that in the 1980s and 1990s other companies started to produce the design without his permission. Examples produced by Directional however were the correct authentic examples that he created the design for - so this set of signed Corkscrew club chairs are great for Kagan collectors as well as interior designers with clients who enjoy authentic and original designs.
