Restored Carrara Marble Coffee Table by Maison Jansen, c. 1940s, Signed

  A beautiful Maison Jansen coffee table with Carrara marble top in four sections over a lacquered wood frame, circa 1940s, made in France. Signed with Jansen stamp underneath on the wood frame and with fantastic provenance: from the estate of Roger Prigent (Malmaison).. This truly refined and sophisticated collectors piece has been refinished in a deep orange color that is close to Hermes Orange and is ready to grace the home or office of a design connoisseur or art collector.  The color is truly beautiful. While not exactly the same color as Hermes Orange, it has the same regal feel. Some descriptive words to help describe the color - perhaps blood orange, crimson orange or sunset orange. It has a vibrant, rich hue that is deep, saturated orange with hints of red.
