Tulip Sconce - Two Arm

A minimalist and almost geometric simplicity underlies this classic design, which integrates well with a wide range of decors, from Early American and Dutch Colonial to Contemporary Farmhouse or Industrial.The motifs for both our Tulip and Heart sconces derive from Pennsylvania Dutch 'Hex Signs'. Around the mid to late 19th century, folks in that region began painting or otherwise affixing such symbols to barns and other buildings.   Every piece is handmade to order here in our Vermont workshops.
