Plate 275 Yellow-Billed Cuckoo, Audubon Octavo 1840 First Edition

This print has never been cleaned or restored.  Being over 170 years old it demonstrates characteristics commonly associated with its age and usage, such as finger smudges (spoiling) along the margins and the natural discoloring of the paper (toning).  There are a few blemishes or age spots (foxing).  This print exhibits light text offset.  Please refer to the photos. The edge that was attached to the book is untrimmed and has retained some of the glue from the original binding - see photo.  The paper is in good condition with few noticeable marks or spots.  Overall, I believe that this print is in fine to very fine condition.
