The XS-L10S is a part of the Sony’s Shallow Mount Series of subwoofers which offer uncompromised sound output with an extremely compact frame.  This slim subwoofer requires very little air space and therefore can be installed in very tight locations.   The XS-L10S was engineered by Sony's leading sound engineers.  The end result was a small subwoofer that has more power handling than the XS-L106P5 which is way larger and requires way more air space. The 10” subwoofer integrates the durable polypropylene into a unique five-sided cone which delivers excellent sound.  Any potential distortion can harm the performance of your bass output. This issue has been carefully taken care of by the pentagonal design, which reduces the standing waves, generally found in conventional subwoofers. The subwoofer has been held well under control by the tough rubber surround which comfortably allows the sub to be played at high decibels.
