Kroon Premium Porsche 911/912 Headlight Relay Kits - Best-in-Class®
As you know, in Porsches there are no headlight relays and the current runs directly through the headlight switch. Before the recent innovations in halogen bulb technology we all used a 100w bub for the high beams which put a load on the switch that it wasn't designed for as the earlier bulbs were only available at 55w. The switches would sometimes fail as a result and are expensive ($500.00) to replace. A headlight relay kit eliminates the current running through the headlight switch and, in addition, it places the loaded wiring closer to the headlights for an increase in performance. The latest generation halogen bulbs run at 55w and thus eliminate the need for the relay to protect the switch. We have a few of the premium quality kits from Kroon left and our thought at this reasonable price it still might make sense to install one. Much more elegant from an electronics point of view - and there is still increased power to the headlamps. Kroon Headlight Relay Kits Kroon, based
