These earrings are made with stainless steel hoops, fresh water pearls, and authentic blue sea glass.  PLEASE KEEP IN MIND Sea glass size and shape can slightly vary.  HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PIECES  Gold plated (water resistant) :  Avoid contact with  any  Chemicals or products. Gold plating can wear off and turn silver after extensive wear in water (particularly the attachment pieces).  Occasional wear in water is fine. Silver (water proof): Avoid contact with  chemicals. Stainless steel/sterling is tarnish proof  and fine to wear in water frequently    All products are hypoallergenic  and nickel free.
