Warwood Short Handle Sledge Hammer This Beater is a 100% USA Made, High Carbon Steel, Double Face Sledge, designed specifically for Iron Worker needs.  4lb / 10in Hickory Handle (10.5" x 5" x 2") Features: Drop Forged and heat treated to produce an ideal grain structure and a Rockwell Hardness of 48 - 55 Rc. A round striking faces with a slight crown. Chamfered edges for efficiency and durability.  Shortened American Hickory handles for greater accuracy in confined spaces. Head is handled with a proprietary "GripLock" round steel wedge, designed to created a more secure attachment to the handle.
