Based on our Hyper 3.5 but with an increased conductor diameter, improving performance capability, especially over longer lengths. Perhaps best considered the ‘long-wheelbase’ version of our Hyper 3.5 platform, offering a step-up in overall performance with improved bass accuracy and control. Hyper Achromatic Speaker 5.0 is particularly optimised for use in longer cable runs. DETAILS The quality of the 5.0mm² OFC copper conductors and high-efficiency PTFE dielectric allow Hyper to reveal more of the performance level of which your equipment is capable. Cold-weld factory termination is with our Achromatic non-magnetic Z plugs, eliminating any possible detrimental effects from magnetic eddy currents. OFC spades are available as a termination option. Precision-calibrated cold-weld termination gives a more consistent connection with improved reliability and increased signal continuity over conventional solder fixing.
