7 YEAR OAK AGED DISTILLED DISTRICT COMMON  *No Shipping* We teamed up with our buds in Ivy City, District Made Spirits, to distill a batch of District Common into a hops-flavored whiskey (the actual flavor profile is very malt focused, like a scotch, but we have to call it “hops-flavored” to appease our Federal regulatory overlords). This guy came out of the barrel at a stunning 178 proof, turns out that’s too hot for even our beer and whiskey loving pallets. So we proofed it down to a manageable and smooth 100 proof. For a spirit that drinks so smooth and has a surprising reminiscence of the fruity complexity of District Common. There are only 50 bottles of the 7 year aged Spirit of District Common in existence. Make that 42 after we took some for gifts for our awesome staff (they certainly earn it everyday). Each bottle is hand-numbered to mark the occasion.
