Canvasback Duck Decoy Pair, by Wildfowler Decoy Company

RARE PAIR OF Half-Size, CANVASBACK duck decoys by the Wildfowler Decoy Company. Both Painted and signed by Dot Clayton. From the personal collection of Charles R. Birdsall, one time owner of Wildfowler Decoy Company and also signed by him. The Wildfowler Decoy Company changed hands several times over the years and eventually ceased operating in 1993. Excellent original paint and unused condition. Both with painted feather detail to back and sides. Drake's head turned slightly right. Both with glass eyes. Both retain crisp Point Pleasant, NJ Wildfowler brand embossing. Both unrigged.  Overall length is approximately 11 inches each. Sold only as a pair.
