Designed to complement the Celestron Luminos eyepiece range, the Barlow lens comes encased in a durable hard-anodized aluminum housing. For a secure grip, even in chilly weather or while wearing gloves, a strategically placed rubber grip is situated on the barrel. The interior features a brass compression ring that securely grabs onto your 2" eyepieces when you tighten the oversized thumbscrew. This design offers better security than typical thumbscrew-only systems and also prevents the eyepiece barrel from getting scratched. For added versatility, a matching 2" to 1.25" adapter is included, allowing you to amplify the magnification of all your eyepieces, regardless of their size
