WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY, IS THAT I’M TRYING

Acrylic on Laser Cut Wood 32" x 29" | 81 x 74cm  -  Artist Replete presents "WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY, IS THAT I’M TRYING" created by Chicago artist and founder of the You Are Beautiful movement, Matthew Hoffman.    A visual representation of an idea being formed. The words can't come together in the beginning and the thought is messy but if you keep trying, the idea can form. At the end of the piece it reads "I'm Trying" with bits of the artwork title scattered into the work. This piece was first sketched by hand from the artist and is created from his own writing, then carved into wood that's later painted.   This is currently the newest creation from Matthew Hoffman.
