"Consider art..." - letterpress print

This letterpress print features a slight rewording of a quote from Lynda Barry's Syllabus. The quote was originally about the nature of drawing but I think it applies to art in general so I made it so :) This is a great affirmation for any artist or creative-type for their office or studio wall!It's printed in a shiny light blue ink on a sturdy, smooth slightly off-white 9.75 x 5.5" piece of paper. Thanks to the nature of letterpress, you can see and feel the imprint on the back side (also probably including some ink from the other pages stacked underneath as I was printing!). The print is signed and dated on the bottom right with a print number on the back. This was hand assembled and printed by me with a mix of antique and newer type and ornaments at Scale House Print Shop in Hartford, VT on a 1913 Chandler & Price printing press with a limited run of 15.
