Loro Piana's Storm System consists of a water-repellant treatment that creates a protective barrier around the wool fabric's fibers. The outer-layer protection causes water droplets to slide off the surface and protect the wool fabric from stains, dirt, and dust - while the underside's polyamide composition makes the fabric breathable and windproof.
