Mommenpop Makrut Limepop Aperitif

Makrut lime, otherwise known as kaffir lime, is an intensely aromatic citrus fruit native to southeast Asia.  The fruit and leaves are used widely as both food an medicine.  In this case, they make a pretty nice drink, too.  While uncommon in much of North America, California's mild climate is well-suited for growing citrus.  Makrut limes do quite well there.  That makes Mommenpop's Makrut Limepop an exceedingly unique example of an American lime aperitif.
