FireStorm-Plus XL 1/2" Ferro Rod & Tinder Fire Starting Kit

We put together this kit with the tools you need to get a fire going while out on the trail. We started with our FireStorm-Plus ferro rod that features our PyroStryke alloy blend which provides over 18,000 strikes of whit-hot sparks (up to 5500 degrees). It's extra large 1/2" diameter makes is strong and durable so it won't let you down at crunch time.  The solid wood ergonomic handle with 4-feet of braided 7-strand 550 paracord lanyard provide a sure grip when striking the Ferro rod when starting a fire or used for a number of other uses such as emergency repairs or first aid. Also included is our reusable FireWick torch which uses a special wax infused rope which will easily catch a spark and ignite. Once lit, you can use it as a match for lighting larger tinder, wood or other combustible materials.
