For example, (but not limited to) trauma, drug/ alcohol abuse, domestic abuse, mental health, poverty, racism & loss.  While the inspiration of this art was founded from negative experiences, it is actually meant to symbolize the positive aspects that stem from these scenarios. It embodies empowerment and peace from perseverance. It is “the bridge” we cross as we near the end of the storm. It is accepting and loving ourselves through the pain and grief.
