With a smoother, milder flavor than traditional cacao nibs and beans, our roasted cacao beans are a great, chocolatey addition to kava, coffee and as a nice quick crunchy snack. Colombia Tasting Note: nutty, roasted coffee, deep dark chocolate, mild tropical fruit notes (banana, pineapple, mango depending on fermentation lot). Ingredients: Organic Cocoa Beans, Organic Cocoa Butter or Rice Bran Oil (trace). Whole beans, up to 10% broken by weight. NOT alkalized. NOT raw. Direct Trade: Traceable to farm level. The Farming Community earned more than 50% more income on top of Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance premium prices by shelling their cacao locally.
