From Tanzania. Stylistically carved in wood with smooth circular features, rounded eyes and some inset teeth remaining. Nicely pierced around rim and displaying old back. Red face pigment and black pigments for coiffure.Size 8-1/4 in H. + mount.Excellent age and signs of use. Nice patina.
