Created originally for some dear friends and their first child, this piece was such a fun one to work on. It was inspired by the curiosity and adventure of youth. I chose to focus on the scene from one of my favorite locations, the Mermaid Lagoon. I have a certain way I like to make water and its interaction with light and I love how it carried through into this painting. Acrylic on canvas.
