Clear Aalto Vase Iittala

Savoy Glass Vase, 3.75by Alvar Aalto for Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1936 for Karhula, the vase was based on a woman s dress and formed by the traditional manner of blowing glass into a wet wooden mold. The vase became known as the Savoy vase due to it being included in a project for the Savoy restaurant in Helsinki. It also was included in the Paris Exhibition that same year. 4.68x 4x 3.75h.
