Basic Beginner Sock Class

*** This is an in-person class at ArkansasYarnCo on June 21, 2025 *** This is the first step of our sock class series. In this class, you will learn the basic construction of a sock in magic loop on size US1 32" needles. Techniques you will learn: How to make a sock cuff How to knit a heel flap and gusset How to measure your sock for foot length Toe decreases Kitchener Stitch bind off Prerequisites for this course: Know how to Knit and Purl Know how to long tail cast on Know how to knit in the round Materials that will be provided to you: One 20g mini from ArkansasYarnCo One Chiaogoo 32" US1 Circular Needle 4 locking stitch markers  One ArkansasYarnCo Tape Measure Basic Sock Pattern Materials you should bring or purchase: Darning Needle Class Hours: 06/21: 10:30am - 2:30 pm
