This symbol comes from the Sumarian stone texts and is their symbol of the "gift of genetics (double snakes are a double helix) from the winged ones" (the Anonnaki, represented here by the winged disc behind her). The Caduceus is also known as the "Angel of Healing". The Temple in the background is a metaphor for our own inner temple, thus in this painting she is healing the inner temple.
