The Hieratikon, Vol. II Revised Version - Service Book

Edition: 2nd Pages: 360 Hardback - Pocket Size Combines "you/your" common usage pronouns with the high quality that distinguishes our Standard Hieratikon. Includes the Divine Liturgy of St. John, St. Basil, and the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts. The Revised Version does not seek to replace our Standard Version. It was a project for which STM Press received a mandate at the All American Council in 2017. While we are concerned that it might set an unintended precedent, we are also mindful of the dilemma in which dioceses that encourage common-usage pronouns (“you/your”) do not have a quality publication which they can proscribe, sadly resulting in much liturgical plurality and confusion. We will continue to encourage the use of Standard English and have no plans to offer a Revised English version of any of our other publications, but we are content that there is now a quality Liturgy text for those who choose to utilize common usage pronouns.
