Electronic Spark Timer v2.0

Built solid, this fully electronic spark timer provides two different spark timing rates with one switch. The timer sparks at 60 Hz and every 6th dot is larger to indicate 10 Hz. Measuring just 90 mm x 97 mm x 37 mm, it lends itself perfectly to both bench-top and support-mounted experiments. The low-friction discharge needle, which barely touches the spark-sensitive 1 cm tape, makes it ideal for air tracks and free-fall experiments. For clarity of measurement, the discharge needle (which is fully adjustable for greatest accuracy) leaves a double dot at each point. Includes a self-storing cord, bench clamp, and a free roll of spark tape. Operates on standard line voltage of 110 V AC 60 Hz.
