The GRF 10 capitalizes on a magnetic sensor to transmit position data, circumventing the friction that often leads to wear and tear in other sensor types. The sensor's arm is linked to the boat's rudder, providing position information directly to the mariner. This gives an extra level of reassurance when starting from a stationary position, docking, launching, or navigating at low speeds.
