IRA GERSHWIN HAND-WRITTEN LETTER TO IRVING DRUTMAN - $10,000 APPRAISAL VALUE! ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a letter from Ira Gershwin to his friend/colleague Irving Drutman. In the letter he discusses his wife Lee Gershwin’s plans to visit NYC and various places in Europe. He also references some movies he was working on including “A Star is Born” and “Country Girl”. At the end he signs the letter with a drawing of a figure bowing and his name.  Ira Gershwin was an American lyricist who collaborated with his younger brother, composer George Gershwin, to create some of the most memorable songs in the English language of the 20th century.
