2024 Cotes de Provence Rosé, Chateau L' Afrique

Producer: Chateau L' Afrique  Wine: 2024 Cotes de Provence Rosé - HVE3 & Vegan  Varietals: 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Cinsault Terroir: Cuers-Pierrefeu : the red sandstone bedrock has produced a sandy limestone soil, which has combined with colluvial soil from the areas of high ground on either side of the terroir. Average age of wines are 30 years old.  Tasting Notes:  A very pale and shiny pink color with a nose of fresh almonds, exotic fruits, and peach. There is a pleasant freshness on the palate with notes of pineapple and a hint of mint. A well balanced rosé with character. Food: Bouillabaisse, Ahi tuna poke, grilled prawns, vegetarian curry, carpaccio with dill and pink peppercorn, fish in marinated Ponzu, watermelon salad with feta, and peach cobbler.  Cellaring: Drink now
