2021 Condrieu, Domaine Boissonnet

Producer: Domaine Boissonnet Wine: 2021 Condrieu Varietal: 100% Viognier Vinification:  After manual harvesting, pneumatic press, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation  in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats (from 1 to 3 wines). Maturation on fine lees with regular stirring in 10% new french oak.  Bottling after 9 to 10 months of aging. Tasting Notes: Golden color with yellow hues.  Fruity aromas of white apricot and white peaches, the palate is structured due to aging in oak barrels (10% new) and gives a perfect balance of richness and minerality. Food: This wine is the ideal accompaniment as an aperitif with friends. It will be perfect with pan fried scallops, foie gras, creamy fish, chicken with morel mushrooms and desserts.
