2021 Beaune 1er Cru, Les Vignes Franches Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure
Producer: Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure Les Vignes Franches Wine: 2021 Beaune 1er Cru Les Vignes Franches Plots: From parcels planted in 1929 and 1974 Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir Tasting Notes: "The Beaune Les Vignes Franches ler Cru, matured in 25-30% new oak, is more open-knit, perhaps more "Beaune- like" on the nose compared with the Epenottes: Morello cherries, crushed strawberry and light mineral scents. The palate is very well balanced, good depth, a little lactic in texture with quite a precocious, yet controlled finish that displays fine persistence. Give this two or three years for the oak to assimilate and you will have a fine Beaune on your hands." - 91-93 Points - Neal Martin, Vinous Media, November 2021 Food: Beef Bourguignon, duck breast, Coq Au Vin, Camembert and soft cheeses. Cellaring: Drink now or hold until 2030
