2022 Bruno Colin Bourgogne Chardonnay
The Colin family is one of the premier family names in Burgundy. Pierre Yves Colin Morey is likely the most well known for many of you, but there are several other members of the extended family tree that produce exquisitely collectible wines. If the PYCM-side of the family tree focuses on flinty reduction and needlepoint precision, the Bruno Colin and Philippe Colin brothers' are larger-scaled wines with greater fruit amplitude, texture, and mid-palate density. I have tasted both sets of these 2022s, and can warmly recommend them. Our pricing is also quite nice compared to the market! The 2021 Release here was one of our favorite Bourgogne Blanc's of the year. 89 Points Burghound: "Aromas of pear, apple and petrol give way to sleek and precise middleweight flavors that also conclude in a nicely dry but not really austere finale. This too could be enjoyed young or aged for 2 to 3 years to good effect."
