2022 Bessin Tremblay Chablis Valmur Grand Cru
Our blind tasting group thought this was Dauvissat Grand Cru. While 2020 may have gotten a big review (96+ WA), this is the best Valmur I have had from Bessin-Tremblay. Grand Cru Chablis with STINGING Acidity doesn't happen often. This one strikes your palate like it is a tuning fork. It keeps going and going. 94+ Points William Kelley of Wine Advocate “The 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur is a taut, chiseled wine, unfurling to reveal aromas of citrus zest, crisp green apple, iodine, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's bright and racy and concludes with a penetratingly saline finish. As ever, it's one of the best Chablis of the vintage.
