C1930S CARTER'S GREY STRIATED STREAMLINE STANDARD FOUNTAIN PEN RESTORED

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1930s Carter's Streamlined Fountain Pen in this uncommon Grey Pearl Striated Celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, put back together, and is now back in superb writing condition. I have cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. I replaced the rubber sac with a new latex sac. I hand polished the gold-filled Carter's rocker clip, lever arm, and 2-ring barrel banding. I have cleaned, buffed, and polished the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy of the fountain pen and to protect the celluloid. This Carter's Fountain Pen is a Streamline Standard Size model that measures 5 1/8" inches capped and 6 3/8" posted. The fountain pen cap and barrel are in exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This striated grey pearl celluloid is uncommon, I haven't seen this pattern in this color in any catalogs I have access to but the clip and design date it to the early 1903s.
