1920S WATERMAN #56 HARD RUBBER FOUNTAIN PEN W/FLEXIBLE 14K NIB M-BBB RESTORED

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1920s Waterman #56 Black Smooth Hard Rubber Fountain Pen with Flexible 14K New York Ideal Nib. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition. Ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Hand cleaned the inside of the barrel and cap with mineral oil. Cleaned and polished the outside of the cap and barrel with Mineral Oil. Replaced the old rubber sac with a new silicone sac. Hand polished the 18K Gold Filled Clip Cap Clip, Lever Box Assembly along with the Waterman 14K #6 NIB. The hard rubber displays a great black hard rubber color with only very minor and light oxidation on the cap and barrel. The black hard rubber is smooth (no chasing) with even color throughout the cap and barrel. The barrel has an imprint at the center that read, "WATERMAN'S IDEAL GLOBE LOGO REG. US PAT. OFF.
