Vintage Trinket Box, Duck Shaped Trinket Box, Loon Pewter & Brass, Oriental Asian Decor, Vintage Collectibles, Home Decor, Jewelry Box, Ring Box, (Discontinued) Made in Hong Kong Vintage: circa 1970's Details:  Very beautiful Oriental/Asian artisan decorated pewter trinket box.  It is shaped like a duck, (we think it looks more like a Loon, with it's long thin beak, not wide like a duck's).  It has brass accents on the wings, tail and eye.  It opens up to a shallow bowl where you can hide all sorts of small items like jewelry, office supplies, perhaps stamps or paper clips, maybe even an extra key.  It is embossed on the bottom: "Made in Hong Kong".  Pictures show the original price from 40 years ago was $39.00, that's the equivalent of over $110 dollars in today's value.  Unique home decor, would be a great addition on a desk or bookshelf, or as a gift for an Asian decor collector.
