Coca Cola Mugs, Racing Checkers, Coca Cola Collectibles, Grandmug, Vintage Collectibles, Coffee Mug, Coke Drinkware, Black & Red, (Discontinued) Made in China Vintage: 1996  Details:  Highly collectible Coca Cola Racing Checkers coffee mugs.  These are part of a collection by Gibson that includes drinking glasses, dinner plates, soup bowls, cereal bowls, etc.  This size is called a "Grandmug" because of its large size.  Such a happy, vibrant pattern with the red checks all along the rim and black checks on the inner border, it always reminds us of Summer!  Between the checkered pattern is the traditional "Coca Cola" cursive logo in red.  They are all stamped with the Gibson logo and read in part: "Coca Cola Brand Dinnerware & Mugs, Gibson Housewares, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe, China".  We also carry Rimmed Soup Bowls in this pattern.  Perfect for the Coca Cola collector and the racing fan!
