Seashell Study II

9 x 12  fine acrylic, oil pastel and graphite on linen    hand-torn edges arrives in a custom pewter frame with mat  full size with frame: 16.5 x 19.5  For this series, I have envisioned seashells in gestural motion, not just an object lying on a beach — but engaged, uninhibited, pirouetting, arms embracing the shore. Each is a study in subtlety, gesture, light and color.
